Testing the Toughness of the Galaxy Watch Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, which Samsung says is its toughest smartwatch yet, was recently tested to check if it really is as durable as they claim. To really push the watch to its limits, tech expert Phillip Chu Joy joined the Peruvian Navy\’s Special Operations Course. This showed how well the watch can handle tough military training conditions.
Documenting Real-World Challenges
The testing process was recorded in videos that were posted on both Chu Joy\’s and Samsung Peru\’s YouTube channels. In these tests, the Galaxy Watch Ultra faced tough conditions like being in water, mud, and sand. Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra has a Grade 4 titanium frame and is certified to military standards (MIL-STD-810H), meaning it can handle extreme temperatures from -20°C (-4°F) to 55°C (131°F) and high altitudes up to 9,000 meters (over 29,500 feet). It also has a water resistance rating of 10ATM, making it good for underwater activities.(more info)
